Celebrating Diversity at the 21st Maspalomas Pride by Freedom
Every year, in the first half of May, the Maspalomas Pride by Freedom festival becomes the highlight of the year. Established in 2001, this year marks the celebration’s 21st edition in 2023. The festival is renowned for its diverse agenda, encompassing a variety of cultural gatherings, art displays, social discussions in educational institutions, and advocacy movements.
With a combination of entertainment attractions, the event offers eleven complimentary venues featuring talent performances from local, regional, and international artists. The festival also hosts several contests, including the formal selection of Mr. Gay Gran Canaria, a heel race, and boat excursions. Furthermore, it includes raffles, parties, and much more.
