Palabras al Vuelo 2023: Celebrating the Art of Oral Storytelling in Lanzarote Once Again
Once again, the esteemed Palabras al Vuelo festival returns to Lanzarote in 2023, offering the finest showcase of oral storytelling. The eleventh edition of this rich and vibrant festival is set to unfold from 5th to 15th October. This edition promises to again set a new benchmark in promoting the art of oral narration, not just in Lanzarote, but also in La Graciosa, establishing itself as an essential event honouring this ancient art. Internationally recognised, the festival is a congregation point for oral narrators from various corners of the globe. They’ll represent regions as diverse as the Americas, Africa, Asia, and various parts of Spain, including Canaries, Galicia, and Catalonia.
